It was too nice a day not to give it a day,so after breakfast at the dip I rigged 9.4 to go for a drift about on the longboard.A quick drip to the ferry and then I thought I would sail to Rough Towers(approx 12 miles) but after 4 miles I still could'nt see it because of the hazy conditions I turned and headed for the pier.By using the dagger board and waves you could get up on the plan and was good fun out with the yachts.I stopped on the beach for a snack then a good beat back in increasing winds.On arriving back at the dip the formula boys (Mark,Andy and David) were rigging 11m.I had another hour just messing around keeping out of the way of the formula sailors as they were going faster than me !!!! A good three hours + just needed to be a fraction windier but still good.
